The GeekFestToronto ‘Spirit Award’ goes to the Filmmaker, Film Team Member, Cast Crew, or subject who most demonstrates the “Indie Spirit”, through pride of film production, promotion of film, audience engagement; as well as, producing a memorable contribution on film.

This year we give this award to one person who embraced this spirit from the moment she found out her team’s film was an Official Selection, for her tireless efforts in promoting their film to their CERN community and Physicists and Science Geeks alike around the World, engaging on Social Media, Festival Presence, Approachability and Team Spirit.

This year that Person is… CONNIE POTTER
